Winemaking:

Gran Cruz 30 Years Old Tawny Port is an aged Tawny Port wine produced from autochthonous red grapes varieties from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, and Tinto Cão. The grapes were foot trodden in granitic Lagares and after a long maceration, the fermentation process took place at controlled temperatures. When the wine had achieved the sweetness desired the wine spirit (Aguardente), was added to stop the fermentation. Gran Cruz 30 Years Old Tawny Port is the result of the blend of the best batches of Port wines which aged in oak wood vats, for an average age of 30 years old.

Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cão.

Tasting Notes:

Gran Cruz 30 Years Old Tawny Port is an exhuberant's Port wine aged at its peak. The ageing in the wood has given it an old gold character highlighted by its intense and mature aromas. It features outstanding notes of dried fruits such as walnuts and hazelnuts and notes of ripe sweet citrus, giving it the softness and elegance.

Serve temperature 12-13°C.
